A Youthful Take

Hello! My name is Adalyn Matteis, and I'm a 18-year-old artist from Windsor-Essex County. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—what began as crayon scribbles on printer paper has grown into detailed oil paintings and a deep commitment to creative growth. Inspired by the intricacies of the natural world, I’m currently focused on developing vibrant, realistic compositions across a range of media, including charcoal, coloured pencil, and paint. As of Fall 2025, I’m furthering my academic and creative studies through a joint degree in Visual Arts and Biology.
